Melanie is an Arkansas Native. She grew up on the Buffalo National River in a small town in Arkansas. After attending college at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, she and her husband settled in Northwest Arkansas. Melanie has been in elementary education since 2001. Melanie has a Master's Degree in Special Education and has taught in a self-contained class for the last 9 years, serving students with a range of disabilities. It is within this domain that she learned of and fell in love with ABA. While working toward her certification as a BCBA, she worked with the Arkansas Autism Partnership and provided waiver service ABA therapies as a lead therapist and consultant. Melanie continues to teach and also currently works in the Fayetteville AIM clinic. She is excited about the opportunity to work alongside children and families to support independence through skill-building. She lives in West Fork with her husband, Jeremy, daughters Caroline and Kinsley, and her son Landon. Melanie enjoys spending time with her family and crafting.
